What's the difference between Home Care and Home Health Care?

Home Care is non-medical assistance with daily living tasks (e.g., personal care, companionship). Home Health Care involves medical professionals (e.g., nurses, therapists) providing doctor-prescribed medical services.

Are caregivers screened and trained?

Yes—each caregiver undergoes:

  • Fingerprint-based criminal background check
  • Verification of employment and certification (e.g., CPR/First Aid, PCA/CNA)
  • Ongoing in-service training and annual re-certification
Will the same caregiver come each time?

Whenever possible, we assign a consistent caregiver or small team to build trust and familiarity. You can also request a different caregiver if needed.

What are your hours and shift lengths?

Shortest shift: 5 hours

  • We offer flexible scheduling: daytime, overnight, weekends, and holidays
Do you provide transportation?

Yes—caregivers can drive your loved one using their own vehicle (mileage fee applies) or yours (no extra charge).

How quickly can care begin?

We typically start within 24–48 hours after assessment, and sometimes even the same day depending on caregiver availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

No penalty—with adequate notice, you can cancel or change care schedules without extra fees.

Do you provide care in assisted living or hospitals?

Absolutely—we can support clients wherever they reside: private homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, or nursing homes.
